Manic Monday

Somedays you know from the minute you get out of bed that it is just going to be a messy bun type of day and today is that day! I got up when my alarm went off, I took my time getting ready (first mistake), decided to put some food in the slow cooker, make an exquisite lunch, and then I looked at the clock and guess what...I'm running late! Good thing I'm a cosmetologist because I can slap on a face faster than some people can get dressed. Now it comes to the hair...wear it smooth? Wear it wavy? Curl it? Messy bun...heck yes!! Why you ask; it's quick, I love buns, I can dress it up with a braid on top...I love braiding and braids are cute, I mean, who doesn't love a braid...seriously!? There you go in 143 hot seconds my hair style is done and I look darn cute and ready for the day! So let's review, if you are running late for whatever reason, like you hit snooze way too many times, your alarm didn't go off, kids held you up, you took too much time for yourself because god knows you never get any so why not indulge, messy bun is a quick, cute hairstyle and is your best option! Some of you may be saying ya ok I have short hair so that won't work for me! You are wrong sister, it sure will work for you, just braid the middle top back and put that into a bun and you are on your way! Some may say, I'm too old for a bun, let me tell you that NO ONE is too old for a bun! Buns are not just for the oven anymore they are the IT hairstyle and anyone can rock it! When you are strutting down the street with your messy bun you may hear people say your hair looks so cute today how did you do that, or you look "on point!" (If you hear this this is a direct compliment telling you that you NAILED your hairstyle today!) or the ever popular OMG I love your hair! Take the compliment and be on your way because you know it's true, you look great, and you did it in no time and thanks to messy bun it's no longer just another Manic Monday!
